1Host a Sekai Bivouac pickup spot
A pickup spot is a place where someone with nowhere safe to spend the night, who will go to a public consultation desk the next day, can collect an emergency support package. Restaurants, bookshops, shops, temples, churches and NPOs whose main work is not support all help us.
What we ask
- Store the packages (three to five large Letter Pack envelopes)
- When someone arrives, carry out a five-minute intake in a dedicated web app and hand over a package
- Be listed on the Sekai Bivouac site (your listed hours need not match your opening hours)
What we do not ask
- We ask nothing resembling consultation support. Only the intake, following the app's instructions
- You do not manage stock either. Our office tracks it and restocks
We are currently recruiting in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama and Chiba.

2Donate goods
What we need at the moment is these three things.

| Calorie Mate and similar portable food | It has to be edible straight away and easy to carry |
| QUO cards | They let us avoid deciding how the money is used. The person buys what they need, when they need it |
All of these go into emergency support packages and are handed over the same day.
Please contact us before sending anything, through the contact form. Our storage space is limited, so we need to agree quantities and timing.
3Regional sponsorship (corporate giving)
Would you take on the support that arises where your company is based?
Through Sekai Bivouac, Toimikke maintains a network of emergency support across areas of Tokyo and Saitama. Regional sponsorship is a form of corporate giving in which you continuously support the emergency response that arises in that area.
- Support is needed “tonight”. Single grants with a fixed purpose cannot cover spending of that kind. Continuous support translates directly into the number of times we can respond
- We will display your logo on our site and elsewhere, if you would like us to
- We report regularly on how the work is going

On tax treatment. Toimikke is not currently a certified NPO, so donations are not tax-deductible. We say so openly.
4In-house talks
We are not currently accepting volunteering or pro bono work in which your staff join us on the ground. Emergency support means handling personal information and urgent situations on the spot, which makes one-off participation difficult.
We do, however, accept requests for in-house talks and training.
